Another sunny day (gonna get spoiled) so we took Matilda out to the Zoo. Bit of a pre-spring lull on the butterfly population, but caught this happy little guy striking a pose!
Even in the rain I have a really tough time capturing spider webs. I can't seem to figure out the light vs. angle. Maybe if I can catch them against some darker backgrounds it would help.
I am neither dead nor dropping out of the project. My laptop, however, was stolen - then recovered - then crashed preventing me from uploading or processing over the last few weeks. I'll be dumping here to try and catch up,
This is a slug my little girl found in the back garden. I say slug, though it is obviously something else entirely in that it was the size of a child's foot. It also seems to have had some parasite bore it's way through his head. Obviously some form of mind control thereby explaining the giant growth spurt!
I did almost noo color processing on this image short of bringing out the highlights and adjusting the contrast. Had no idea our slimy little garden friends were so colorful!

Waking sleepwalkers does not harm them. While it is true that a person may be confused or disoriented for a short time after awakening, this does not cause them further harm. In contrast, sleepwalkers may injure themselves if they trip over objects or lose their balance while sleepwalking. Such injuries are common among sleepwalkers.
