I relaized that this is my 500th daily shot. These milestones always seem to pass me by without realizing until afterwards. Glad that it was of one of the girls instead of yet another tossaway shot of my closet door!
My dog Max had a stroke on my birthday yesterday and was not doing well at all. He was almost 15 and this was the second major health scare we've had in the past few months. After 24 hours, he still could not stand up without falling down, and when he managed to walk it was in circles before falling over. He was so miserable. I We said goodbye to him this morning and I took him to be euthanized. He was so scared, but I can't help but feel like he looked relieved when the anesthesia kicked in. So distraught ...
Today was my birthday. Apparantly I'm 58 years old. Actually, I'm 38 but the number 3 got lost on the way home, so we had to borrow against Matilda's next birthday. Matilda wanted me to bake myself a cake. And of course it was a butterfly cake.
