I have to say, when Cindy Sheehan began her first vigils on Bush’s doorstep, I was thrilled but cynical. I just wasn’t sure she would have the stamina to remain in the public eye for very long in this myopic and attention deficit disordered media climate. But I have to say, she has not only managed to stay relevant, but has increased her media savvy by several orders of magnitude. All the while maintaining grace under fire and remaining absolutely dedicated to the principles of nonviolence. She is an inspiration to us all.
