With the verdict (finally) in, we should expect a torrent of posts over the next couple of days. In the meantime, here are standouts from the past few days:

I'd say they'll probably wait at least until appeals are exhausted before they try to do something that would play so poorly among the electorate.  Part of me hopes that, in the end, even if CheneyCo decide they want to pardon, that the party will intervene and prevent it.  Good luck getting the GOP back into office after pardoning a criminal insider!  On the other hand, I suppose they couldd wait until the interim following the election (just before 2009) just like Clinton, Bush, Reagan et al did.
