Winning the hearts and minds, part 678

The title of this [1] article is “Hate Groups Are Infiltrating the Military, Group Asserts.”  As though they are covertly trying to sneak in rather than being actively.  To be fair, the first paragraph is a spot more accurate: 

A decade after the Pentagon declared a zero-tolerance policy for racist hate groups, recruiting shortfalls caused by the war in Iraq have allowed "large numbers of neo-Nazis and skinhead extremists" to infiltrate the military, according to a watchdog organization. 

Nobody wants to be the president who institutes the draft.  But we’re running out of soldiers and they have to come from somewhere.  Why not the KKK?  After all, they’re already pretty good with the firearms [2] and bad attitudes and come preindoctrinated with a hatred for brown folks.  They should fit right in when they get to Haditha.
